A vacancy has occurred on the Board of Trustees of the Maple Creek Elementary District. The Board of Trustees is seeking a qualified person to join the Board for a two-year term via a provisional appointment. The term will begin in December 2026 and end in December 2028. School board participation is an opportunity for residents interested in the academic achievement of local students to help guide the district into the future.
Pursuant to Education Code sections 5091 and 5328, the Board of Trustees of the Maple Creek Elementary School District intends to appoint a qualified person to the board to fulfill this vacancy. Qualifications include being at least 18 years of age, a resident of the Maple Creek Elementary School District, and registered to vote with an address within the district. Completed applications must be received in the District Office no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday November 5, 2026. The current members of the Board of Trustees expect to interview applicants in open session at a meeting on November 12, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.. Successful applicants will be seated at that December 10, 2026 meeting.
